At this stage i am sure Hopkins has the mind to pull it off but his reflex's have gone and he would not be able to pull the trigger when he needed to...GGG would beat him at this age

There was nothing great about a guy of 6'1, with a 75" reach, who started out at LHW/CW, beating Oscar at MW, who'd look like **** against Sturm.

        That wasn't greatness.

Here's a quote from Bernard from 2008 in the lead up to his fight against Joe Calzaghe:

"I could have moved up to LHW about 6 years ago had I have wanted to, but I didn't want to give up my advantages"

GGG fans fail on so many levels to accept their cult leader's limitations. He doesn't do well vs solid boxers with some pop. Brook proved that undeniably. BHop would likely lose, but not before embarrassing GGG a good bit.

I think Bernard wants to die in the ring.

He used a different analogy to say the exact same thing about Kovalev, then had to eat his words.

:: 5 minutes after fighting GGG:: "I thought I was the matador in with the bull but turns out I was the cow::

But wasn't he still willing to challenge himself by going down to a catch weight for DLH? And Oscar didn't look like **** against Bernard he was actually winning the fight. You guys kill me trying to protect 'that no special effects guy' on one hand and swear he's a god on the other.

Like I said before,, not sayng taylor wins, just that it's 50/50. Golovkin has never faced a caliber of fighter of taylor 2005, so we really don't know how he reacts when faced with a big athletic young power puncher with a long jab
                      Would definitely be interesting early.

I'd expect Taylor to be ahead at the halfway point but you have to think that when he fades and Golovkin starts landing flush that he'd break down and get him out of there.
