It is obvious he is a natural middleweight and, in these days of weigh-ins 36hrs prior, not even a big one.

In fact he is a similar sort of size to Hagler who, coming to think about it, never faced the same pressures to fight bigger men. Who were Haglers "name" opponents? Duran (light/welter); Hearns (lgt-mdl at time); Mugabi (lgt-mdl/mdl); Leonard (welter/lgt-mdl). Hagler establishes his greatness by fighting and dominating in his own weight class and making other fighters come to him. If he so chooses, Golovkin can do the same.
