Derevyanchenko is the new Golovkin, he is high risk, low reward because no one knows him. It's kind of funny.

He is really just 1 big fight away from putting himself in the Mix at Middleweight. His probably is that I don't think anybody in the Top 10 in that Division will fight him so he will have to become a Mandatory and work his way up

Him vs Avtandil Khurtsidze would be a GREAT FIGHT and a huge step up for him maybe make that a WBC Eliminator or something but yeah Derevyanchenko is on the rise in that Division
Sergiy beating Soliman earned him the #2 rating in the IBF with Tureano #1 and Murata #3 so i expect him and Johnson will face off in an eliminator soon. That would be an excellent action packed fight but i would definitely expect Sergiy to win it.

I really like Derevy vs. Johnson, both guys seem to get into scraps. Both guys also don't have a lot of power, so it'll probably turn into a war of attrition.

That would be even better to be honest!

Derevyanchenko has more natural talent than the overhyped Saul Alvarez (who doesn't honor real Mexican fighters of the past) - it would be great to see this guy as the middleweight heir to Gennady.
