Which also tells me that they're expecting Jacobs to vacate the WBA Regular belt. I'm guessing that they'll decline any offer for the fight and force a purse bid, which will force Jacobs to accept 25% (as per WBA rules). I don't think he'll accept that unless Haymon puts up an enormous bid which is unlikely.
Loeffler said the November date for ggg not set in stone can return also in December and HBO not going let ggg fight off they network if loeffler decides to send it to purse bid they invested to much into ggg and if Jacobs beats him on pbc channel messes up all they plans for him and Canelo

      What are you talking about!

In Twitter they just told Jacobs while he is preparing to train to dance (fight), don't forget to train in signing the contract.

I think the opposite. If Haymon wins purse bid because HBO won't help fund it with k2, they'd be wise to let him. And for same reason, I don't think Haymon tries to outbid HBO.

        1. GGG will get 75% of purse.

        2. Haymon will have paid it, but why. GGG is likely to win anyways. What's Haymon get. If he overlays.

        3. GGG will get to fight in front of an audience he normally doesn't, expanding his base of support.

        4. If they don't, GGG takes step away from his goals. They won't want that.

        5. HBO would get all this without having to lose money overpaying in a purse bid.

Why would people want GGG to fight Eubanks, who was beat by Suanders.

Jacobs best Quillin, who drew even with Lee. Suanders best Lee.

So to discount Suanders as crap would almost say Lee is and Quillin is. If Quillin is crap, then who has Jacobs bested?

Fact is, Suanders is a top MW whose beat a top MW.

Wish list: Jacobs, Saunders, Eubank in May (after beat Blanco to have the last WBA belt), Canelo for the Lineal (assuming he's not stripped, which by the rules he should be).
I agree, I'd like that for the next year.

If the fight goes to a purse bid, then the only person that wins is Golovkin because he's the one getting 75%. There are reports that HBO has no interest of showing Golovkin and Jacbos, so I don't think they care if he fights on Showtime.

IMO Jacobs will likely vacate the belt. Not because he's scared, but because he's not going to be happy with that 25%. Unless of course Haymon pulls a Ryabinsky and throws up a massive bid.

K2 could literally reject every single offer until it's time to go to a purse bid at which point I think Jacobs will vacate the belt.

Haymon is probably hoping that K2 deals in good faith and actually tries to make an offer, as he let Wade fight Golovkin, but I just don't see that happening. This one's going to a purse bid and Jacobs is vacating.

Not at all. In fact, if it goes like this I think GGG v Canelo stays the biggest fight.

GGG: Brook, Jacobs, Suanders, then Canelo. That's three top MW in row.

Canelo: Smith, Monroe, Lemiuex then GGG. That's one top MW and GGG. He should take on maybe one of the other top ten MW instead of Monroe.

                    Jacobs isn't vacating anything.

If his side wins the purse bid.....GGG is the one that will vacate.

Assuming he gets passed Jacobs....which is FAR from guaranteed.
