This would be a great fight, and an excellent barometer of where these 2 are at currently. Getting older, a lot of inactivity lately, interesting style matchup... a classic fight if it comes off.Comment

I got to tell you, Stiverne impressed me against Wilder because he had a medical issue going in and had some trouble letting his hands fly, but man can he take a shot.
Povetkin and Stiverne could end up being the same kind of fight like Foreman vs Lyle.
Probably my favorite all time heavyweight fight. [ with all due respect to Holmes / Norton and Holyfield / Bowe].
I'm taking Stiverne in this one, Povetkin is gonna be right there in front of him.Comment

I wish I can get a copy of the Stiverne/Rossy fight. I have yet to see it. Rossy is a solid gatekeeper who gives all his opponents rounds & a tough night's work but he put Stiverne on the floor which I never thought I would see. That fight could give me a better indication where he is at. Stiverne is so inactive it's hard to tell how much he has left. He took a serious beating from Wilder & that can take years off a guy's career. I think Povetkin will win this fight but Stiverne can punch so anything can happen.Comment

Stiverne getting knocked down by Rossy is out there if you know where to look. This is a tough fight though for Povetkin but will probably get the benefit of the doubt on the scores.Comment
