You just said it yourself, Canelo filled the place against a nobody. He can draw crowds like that any time he wants. He doesn't need Golovkin to make big money.

It's Golovkin who needs him. If I was Lil G I'd take the $10 million and go for it. Should he beat Canelo he takes the torch and becomes more well known to PPV audiences as the man to beat from then on. It would be his Floyd vs Oscar moment.

Plus for sure there would be a rematch clause and he can ask for a much bigger share of the purse the next time around.
