1). Golovkin was negotiating with Eubank jr. That was the exact same deal in place for Eubank. Eddie Hearn worked out the deal with the UK Networks, which is where the money comes from; the promoters aren't paying guys out of pocket. The fights are worth as much as the networks are willing to pay or generate from PPV. Eubank wouldn't sign the exact same deal, Eddie Hearn who is the promoter of both Brook and Eubank, offered K2 Brook instead and they took it. They both get ~$5 million dollars because that's what the market in the UK allowed for a Golovkin fight (Brook sure as hell wasn't making $5 million against Frankie Gavin and the likes and he got $200k against Shawn Porter in Cali).

2). Golovkin is from Kazakhstan, anywhere he fights is going to be "away from his home" since Kazakhstan doesn't have a boxing market in place. There is no money in pro boxing there.

3). What Jacobs is worth is whatever the networks will pay him. That isn't dictated by Golovkin it's dictated by the market. Obviously there is more money fighting UK fighters in the UK than in the US. It isn't rocket science here. Unless you're a superstar like Mayweather, Pacquiao or Canelo, it's almost always going to be more money fighting a UK star in the UK vs the US. If Deontay Wilder fights Tyson Fury, where do you think the money is going to be? Alabama? Or Manchester? Golovkin could have fought Brook in New York or Cali, but why sell yourself short when Brook is a star in the UK and virtually unknown in the US? This is basic common sense, which apparently you guys lack.

4). As for GGG fans and Jacobs, no one cares about how much Jacobs can make, all anyone cares about is the fight actually happening. If Jacobs wants a similar Brook $5 million dollar type of deal, then he needs to go back in time and be reborn in Britain and have a British fanbase. Otherwise he simply cannot make that kind of money, US Boxing isn't what it used to be. Guys who are barely known don't make $5 million. Timothy Bradley made $6 million in his biggest paycheck of his career against Pacquiao III, and that's against boxings second biggest star with Bradley being one of the most known boxing names in America. Maidana made a career-high $3 million in his rematch with Mayweather, the sports biggest star by far, and this was after giving Floyd a hell of a first fight and whooping Broner that spread all over social media for months and months. So how the hell can anyone rationally argue that someone like Jacobs can get $4-$5 million against Golovkin when he's not even close to being as known as these guys against an opponent who isn't anything close as popular as Mayweather and Pacquiao? Can you guys try to at least use your heads?

If you guys can come up with recent examples of American guys like Jacobs earning $3 - $6 million let's see it. Terrance Crawford is probably the closest you can find and its not even an argument that he's a much bigger star than Danny Jacobs and he got $1.3 million, the biggest of his career on PPV. If Jacobs can get more than $3 million, that's great for him I just don't see how that's realistic in today's boxing.
You talk about "Career High's" and yet BI@TCHED about GGG getting a CAREER HIGH FLAT-FEE with Canelo???? Can't have it BOTH ways HYPOCTRITE

You don't even believe in pussie g. Listen to how you sound. Instead of sounding confident that pussie g would beat: Lara, Ward, Jacobs, DeGale your f@ggot ass never says you want to see the fight. What the fuuck type of pussie fan are you???

How in the fuuck do you not want to see pussie g fight his bet competition to date????? OH I get it you think he will look less than stellar and most likely lose.

Well in that case, I'm glad Canelo is treating pussie g like a bytch. You f@ggots are okay when pussie g does it and cry when Canelo does.
Holy **** mate. Seriously either go back to school or take a night class. That's just borderline ******ed.

Two scrubs? Lemeuix was getting smacked around by Marco Antonio Rubio, and Stevens was getting his arse kicked by guys from the contender. Jacobs will be the first real opponent with power that Golovkin will face.

Golovkin didn't fight a legit middleweight opponent until he fought Murray, in his 32nd fight. Prior to that he was fighting cab drivers, bums, journeyman, fringe contenders, and faded former title challengers. You may be correct in your statement of Jacobs having never fought a guy with Golovkin's chin.

Both are scrubs. Stevens was getting smacked around by bums from the Contender, and Lemieux was getting smacked around by Marco Antonio Rubio. It is sad that people are even touting Lemieux and Stevens as quality opposition.

                    • GGG bowls this guy over but physically he has the dimensions no other has had to date, the fight just isn't competitive in the least.
