He will make 154 comfortably and he is good enough to win a lot of fights in that division, he may even decide to fight again at 147.
Which fights? Lol, he aint beating Andrade, Lara, Jrock, Charlox2, Trout, or Canelo. Canelo might duck him anyway though because we all know he don't want a decent fighter that can weigh the same as he does potential, but if they fought Brook might school for a while but then gets KTFO in the later rounds or robbed on the cards. As for the others, he gets schooled and ktfo all the way.

Liam Smith is his only hope and going back to 147 only gives Spence a chance to make a name for himself with a Special K'O.

I have a feeling he won't be the only one moving up, I think you'll see Spence, Thurman, and a lot of these guys move up in the next 12-18 months.

Plus he did just make about £3-4 million, so I'm sure people would disagree with you on that front also. This game first and foremost is about achieving financial security, in an ideal world both legacy enhancing wins and money should come hand in hand, but thats not always the case and Brook at 30 was probably worried he may never get that large 7 figure pay day that his talent deserves, so he took a risk. That fight would have done a lot for his profile though, and now he can concentrate on making big fights in more 50/50 scenarios with both UK ppv and American TV on board.

He was having the same problem as Golovkin, in a way, which was that his team couldn't really pay the other champions enough to get them in the ring because the numbers weren't there and Brook is too risky a proposition for the money that was on offer, which is why the Vargas fight fell through for example.
are u crazy? lara, charlos, j rock, andrade, cotto, even
Jarrett Hurd (who I'm very big on) would light brook up.

Brook was killing himself to make 147 if you believe him and I believe him. He could no longer stay at 147 even if he didn't fight GGG. He had to go up to 154 for the sake of his health. GGG TKOed him so now he will fight at 154. He would have been fighting at 154 anyway even if he never fought GGG at 160. The GGG fight didn't ruin his career because his trainer stopped the fight before he suffered the embarrassment of being knocked out cold. Either Brook is good enough to compete successfully at his proper best fighting weight of 154 or he isn't good enough. Having one 5 round fight at 160 doesn't change that.

I think Brook has always had a hard time making 147. He always looks so gaunt like Canelo at that weight. I don't think he "bulked" for Golovkin in terms of weight lifting. I'm sure he just didn't prioritize making 147. I bet going under 154 is a real task for Kell

Idk about that, Brook looked good but 154 is arguable tougher than the 160 division atm. Guys like Lara and Andrade wont be fun for anyone.

I actually think this fight has add some hard wear and tear of his body, he took a lot of body shots which i think has done a long term damage on him. I want to see what happens next in terms of the weight class he goes in, if he goes to 154 he would have a lot of talented natural LMW to fight and i wouldn't really make him a favourite over anyone of them, and going back down to 147 with all that muscle might make him even worse.
