Brook is slick with fast hands and not enough power to threaten GGG so he got bum rushed. GGG made himself look sloppy but he broke Brooks just like he set out to.
Lemieux had a lot of power so GGG respected it and broke him down from distance with jab and body shots.
I can't be sure what GGG will do if he fights Jacobs. But i do respect GGG's boxing IQ so I think we can expect that he may well do something different again. He's pretty flexible.Comment

That sucks for you because Jacobs has already made you wait four years by ducking GGG ever since he came to the U.S, and he's never once chased after the #1 fighter in his division like a true champion would, and he might make you wait awhile longer still. So maybe you should get used to waiting for fighters to stop ducking GGG. I know it's frustrating, but we've all had to get used to it since it's happened dozens and dozens of times the last four years.
GGG is ready and has been ready. Jacobs is ducking and has been ducking, waiting for GGG to age just like Floyd did with Manny.
You think it's a coincidence that the first time Jacobs shows any interest in the fight in four years is right after GGG appears to be slowing down? That's textbook ducker playbook. That exposes him all over again as if his statements about needing more than "two Quillin's" worth of money to fight "the best of my generation" GGG and his four years of ducking hadn't already.
The craziest part is you defend Jacobs, when Jacobs did not chase after the #1 fighter in his own division for four years, but if you're a brainwashed sheep like many other PBC fans who all just say the same misinformed things, I bet you've criticized GGG for supposedly not chasing after the #1 fighter two divisions up who even at 168 was a "scaled down light heavyweight" according to his trainer, and who naturally weighs 30 pounds heavier than GGG according to his trainer.
So Jacobs ducks the best in his own division... and you don't say a thing. You love the guy.
GGG can't come to an agreement to fight someone who naturally weighs 30 pounds+ more than him, in large part due to that fighter's promotional issues and requirement of two tuneup fights first, and that's the excuse you use to hate GGG.
Since that literally makes no logical sense, I have to assume that's not the real reason you hate him, and that you have another reason, perhaps having to do with demographics... Just guessing. Whatever it is, your reasons aren't logical, that's for sure. Not only does comparing your standards for GGG and Jacobs show your bias, but even comparing GGG to Ward shows it too! Because these demo fans all wanted GGG to fight the #1 "scaled down light heavyweight" in his first fight at a higher weight, while never criticizing Ward's demand to get two tuneup fights before fighting the smaller guy.
So yeah you can criticize GGG-Brook if you want, but at least GGG didn't require two tuneup fights at 160 before fighting Brook at 160, like Ward requested before fighting the smaller guy GGG. And since Ward is naturally 30 pounds heavier than GGG, while GGG and Brook are naturally the same size, that comparison also exposes Ward as well as the entire demo/Floyd fan/Ward fan argument!
