I thought I was the only one that thought that the d.i k riding the whole crew was doing was pathetic damn near ruined a great fight

I didn't score the fight but from watching it I thought Caudres did enough or damn near and Max & Lederman has Romans d.ick so far down their throat I'm suprised they didn't choke

. Im going to rewatch and score it but HBo has turned Into such a joke, At this rate boxing fans better hope PBc suceeds because what HBo is doing to the sport isn't good.

    f.ucking disgusting

Max had an odd night because he was all over Gonzalez's **** but then talk about Cuadras being competitive. Max hasn't done too much boxing blow by blow so I can forgive his lack of flow with it and he was kind of stuck between that and his normal 3rd man in the both gig.

I though Roy did alright and he did force Kellerman to further acknowledge Cuadras work beyond what he naturally did.
I mean I can understand Kellerman & RJJ being bias to HBO's vested interest but at the same time Cuadras couldve become a star too with a win. It was also so obvious that HBO wants Gonzalez vs Inoue

Honestly after last night I take back everything i ever said about PBC. I hope HBO crumbles. They really screwed over a demographic of fans that have been loyal for years. Mexican fans have needed a premier signature win & the fix was in. If u get a chance bro watch it on mute...

Well said dude. Kellerman's extreme bias compounded with awful play by play was hard to stomach. He and Lederman were a disgrace. I was legit yelling at the TV last night at times. Roy isn’t assertive enough to get his points across especially when he's contradicting what the other two mopes were saying. Kellerman not only seemed genuinely schocked that Gonzalez's face was was getting rearranged because both he & Lederman felt that Cuadras had no pop were not hitting the supremely skilled offensive & subtlety slick defensive eizard Chocolatito but in Lederman's absurd opinion was running. Everything was poorly and amateurly done from the spot ads to post fight interview, closing EVERYTHING. Why no interview from Cuadras? Was it because they knew he would strongly disagree with the results & the crowd may have reacted vociferously with disapproving boos? Scorecards were a disgrace as well.

I don't take commentators seriously, including their unofficial scorers, in any network. You gotta be dumb to. Obviously, they have their own biases and leanings. They're humans. What exactly would you expect? In the end, it will be the judges that would decide who wins. Commentators obviously have nothing to do with the result.

I thought Lederman's scoring was off and the judges cards were too wide, but ultimately I do think Chocolatito was the deserving winner

                Yeah man

Its been that way for years but it's getting worse

I didn't score the fight last night but knew after a couple rounds that HBO was on their house fighter BUll****, Kellerman & Lederman should be ashamed especially since it was such a great fight

I'm going to watch it again muted and score it just so I can give a honest assessment but from watching it last night I thought Cudras did enough for the win

Eh, they are ALWAYS biased to me. I've gotten to the point I black out most of what they say & if I feel I'm not blacking out enough of it I'll watch the fight on mute & turn up some good walkout/in between rounds music.

And I'd say HBO should be hyping their product. I just wish they'd hype the fight as much as the fighter which I think is more their bigger failing. Go watch most other sports & you'll see commentators building up things to make it as exciting as possible to see. HBO commentators (although I do think Max isn't really that way) & hell all boxing commentators (although Al Bernstein is one of my favorites along with Max cuz he's definitely a hype the fight, glass half full guy) tend to be more negative about boxing &/or only focused on one side of the fight which is a far less appealing way to discuss it when everyone loves the dog & to see the dog find a way to win.

I standby that Joe Rogan is the go to type of live in the moment commentator boxing needs. Rogan gets as excited about MMA as I do about Boxing & MMA when a fight is about to happen. At its best I get goose bumps & am visible jumpy in anticipation when a fight is about to start & its almost a surreal type moment. There isn't really a boxing commentator who's given me that feel of their own excitement outside of listening to some of those older fights. Go listen to Howard back in the day. Hell one of my only boxing commentators memories from my own era is SRL when Tyson got beat saying "unbelievable" & you could feel it in his voice & tone that he truely felt that way & was in the moment. I don't think many boxing commentators are in the moment these days. Idk just my 2 cents & frustration with these guys who's career is based upon boxing yet seem unexcited about the sport & sometimes even actively ****talk the sport during a show which if I was the guy in charge of that boxing show would get their assed *****ed out & fired if it continued. You don't ****talk what the McNuggets are made out of if you work at McDonald's.

U know I can understand bias commentating it happens for the "house" fighter but HBO was PATHETIC! PBCs commentating on spike Friday was pro Easter but Commey got a ton of props and they left the scoring to the judges. That was a close fight i thought Commey edged it and he gained a fan in me but it was really close. Cuadras vs Gonzalez was close but there was a clear winner and that winner lost.
