Uh like which ones? They've also had a ****ty year.

Bad ratings are bad for the sport, that's pretty obvious. Why would you commit money to such expensive programming with such meager returns?

In all honesty if HBO doesn't want to pay for it then they should get out of the way and let Showtime or PBC televise.
well not necessarily -- as long as they offer jacobs the required percentage of the purse required by the sanctioning body they are fine -- if jacobs refuses to fight then then GGG keeps the belt

That doesn't make sense at all. Bottom line, this is way beyond any networks budget even in the best of times, if the B sider is saying 2 Quillins is not near enough. It's gotta be ppv, even then it may lose money just cause of the 3 already scheduled ppvs in the next 3 months.

it doesn't matter because the fight can go to purse bid!!!! Jacobs will get 25% and ggg will get 75% all that other dumb shit you talking about don't matter!!!!! This isn't a voluntary. This isn't about a side b side. This is a fight that has to be made. All the shit you talking is irrelevant. Stop trying to justify hbo not paying for this fight. If they don't want to support their fighter they need to let him fight elsewhere. Bottom line.

I said Hbo had a ****ty year but you did a piss poor job of convincing me Sho did better. It'd be bad for boxing if the only guys committed to the sport were posting Fnf numbers

No it makes sense, HBO should put their monies where their mouth is. They too should make concessions to make the fight. You cannot by byrating fighters to make concessions and then when it comes down to it you the network doesn't want to make none.
