Canelo does get flack from the media....GGG gets nothing but lapdances from them.

The media is blowing the old guy like he's Hagler., while smearing far more ambitious fighters at every turn.

Canelo got flack for dropping the belt that's it. But we didn't get the stories about how he's bad for boxing. When he picked Smith they fight criticize him and say he's picking the weakest champ. When he stopped VADA testing it was reported but where have you seen stories harshly criticizing him? Kirkland coming off a long layoff. Old Miguel Cotto that he couldn't even hurt. Khan coming off an long layoff, chinny, and coming up in weight. Smith who got a vacant title off Monroe jr leftovers. But this guy was crowned the future of the sport. They pushed Floyd out the door so they could crown Canelo. He's making the sport a joke.

If golovkin goes in there and its very one sided, does it significantly strengthen his cv or should it just be greeted with a shrug of the shoulders? Please discuss...
Golovkin is still the physically bigger man, and Kell Brook has never been hit by real punch power by even a real fighter at 154, let alone taking on one of the bigger punchers at 160lbs.

If Brook gets smoked in 2 rounds, the setup for the fight looks like even more of a money grab (K2 refusing to even give up 2lbs to fight a welterweight, which Eddie Hearn has been written of asking for, makes them look even worse).

Golovkin needs for the fight to actually be a fight.

No he didn't; Eddie Hern asked K2 to give Kell Brook 3lbs, and K2 said **** that **** "bring the welterweight all the way up to 160 or no fight"

There's a lot of people ie Floyd fans and nelo fans, jealous that experts think if GGG and nelo were same size, GGG would beat nelo and is PFP better..from having seen gggs body of work.
GGG critics response and nelo response in return is try belittle gggs resume, with nelo blowing his own trumpet. There's no proof nelo could best gggs opponents so its a cheapshot.
Nelo hasnt proven he can beat gggs opponents but he can prove he could beat GGG, and he's not even willing to try do that. So nelo is the only one to blame
