He complained to the press about Ward not speaking to him in the hallway. That was a private matter but Kovalev made it public. That really got under Kovalevs skin. Andre Ward said he gave Kovalev a headnod. But Kovalev was so upset by it he made sure he told the press. Ward had the perfect response, 'We ain't friends, we aint cool. We gettin ready to fight'. Kovalev is really in his feelings about Ward not speaking to him.

He's really bothered by the fact that Ward isn't showing him the same amount of respect he's showing Ward.

Don't read too much into it. Have you thought its fueling kovos Fire and he is gong to decapitate him?

Take competitors like Kobe and Jordan. The press would ask them 'does it bother you that such and such said this about you?' They would respond 'no. I really don't read the press to much so it doesn't bother me what's said' But then they would go out and drop 40 on that player. You use things like that for motivation but you never let the other person know you're thinking about it.

I'm just hoping for a close fun fight. Plus I don't want to see the winners fan base say the other guy was exposed or is a bum. Both dudes are P4P love it or hate it but it's true
