    I honestly didn't think Porter /Thurman was close probably 9-3 ,8-4 Thurman

I think I had Brook beating Porter 7-5 maybe 8-4 but I don't think it was all that impressive just held on all night. I think it's more of a case of Porter not being able to adjust and just running into the clinch then Brook actually looking good
I agree with this guy Thurman chose to get hit upside the head all night long like a true American hero. None of that defence stuff here he chose to get dragged into a shootout

I know your just f.ucking with me

But Thurman could have just clinched when Porter rushed in and won a boring fight but he chose to fight

It's like what was a better fight for Mayweather Madaina 1 or 2

for me its 1 because Mayweather choose to make it a fight in the second one he just decides to hold when things got hectic, sure he won a larger margin in the second but it wasn't a better performance.

Lets be honest Brook held so much he could /should have been deducted points he did what he needed to do to get the W so props for that but that's about it like I said I fault Porter more for not being able to switch up then giving Brook credit for this masterful performance.

brook didn't look good beating porter though.

it was one of the most boring fights of that year.

I still haven't watched it a second time

Yet what did Thurman say when they asked him how he won in the post fight interview?

Thurman: "Defense Defense defense defense defense!!"

Yes, he literally repeated that phrase throughout the interview.

Brook Vs Porter was constant clinching whenever Porter came to the inside fight the referee never did his job correctly and because of that Brook had a somewhat easier time actually he had a much easier time than Thurman did.
This said you could argue Porter won this fight.

The Thurman fight Porter threw more and landed more he should have won this fight but boxing politics prevailed and the sport lost out because boxing always protects the man who has the 0.

Brook looked like the better boxer for sure. Never really looked in danger from porter, was in complete control.
Thurman should not have won that fight at all.

... and Thurman looked cleaner to me than Brook. I always praise cleaner fighters.
