The only issue with the idea of delaying Golovkin-Jacobs to March is that the WBA has already delayed mandating the fight far enough, and there's very little that K2/Golovkin can do to justify another delay (especially with timing leaning toward the IBF mandatory title defense coming back around).

Outside of paying the money that Saunders is asking for.

Jacobs/Golovkin is a ppv fight, both sides would agree to that. December is a bad time for ppv on the heels of Kovalev/Ward & Pacquiao/Vargas, along with UFC in NY.

... UFC's New York PPV is in November, not December. (and I doubt that Pacquiao-Vargas, after Pacquiao's star has already come down, HBO not lifting a finger to push the fight, and Pacquiao still being a pariah to the American manstream press, the Pacquiao number reaches out all that far).

Miguel Cotto possibly fighting Lamont Peterson at MSG, at some time in December, may impact the local business a bit, but nothing massive, tbh
