What's going on with PBC?

They were originally scheduled to fight in January of 2016 and Thurman didn't want to have to train over the holidays that's why it was pushed back til March and then her got hurt.

Those were rumours, nothing official. Thurman said it was first on in November, which is when it should've happened, then the next time he heard from his team was for a date for March. He said most of the complications were because of networks/dates etc not being suitable.

I've been wondering too. Mabye the Charlo-Williams thing and the rumors of Garcia looking to fight someone other than Berto have set things back.

There is no PBC/Showtime dates after September 27. A lot of rumoured matches just nothing set.

We'll know by next week what's going on. Even that rumoured Oct 15 card has yet to be set yet.

All the big media outlets like fat Dan, said the initial delays were due to problems finding an appropriate date and network. That's what Thurman implied numerous times as well.

Thurman is always quiet these days, he responded with one interview on fighthub if I remember correctly, addressing everything, he said he's accepted a Porter fight numerous times and is just waiting to get the call.

The point is, Thurman is nowhere near active enough and it's not his fault. He told me on twitter recently that he definitely wants to fight again this year, but I'm almost 100% he won't. The same goes for other PBC guys, I don't buy it that Danny doesn't want to be more active, imo something is wrong.
