GGG should stop worrying about Canelo, he should fight the winner of Ward-Kovalev

Yes I would, absolutely. Not sure it'd be a smart career move for Golovkin though.

And whilst I'm not going to argue that the hype isn't manufactured (what hype isn't in this sport) I would argue that the hype was founded on and has been supported by a degree of substance. 'The most feared man on the planet'? No, probably not, but 'The Best Middleweight in the World'? I'd say he has a good claim.

I would agree to this with the one exception that he'd be able to hold on to the 160 lineal. **** Canelo and all the other trash talking p*ssies trying to wait out Golovkins career.

Honestly if Canelo doesn't fight him by early next year I 100% agree. I honestly don't care about GGG beating Canelo as much as I have been wanting Canelo to get re-exposed post Floyd fight because he's a one dimensional puncher with bricks for feet and the ring IQ of a flea.

GGG vs Ward or Kovalev would be huge fights in every way.

But still, I think GGG should stick to unifying 160 FIRST. Regardless of who those opponents are. grab all the belts and then move up.

I think light heavy is too big of a jump. But I would like to see Golovkin fight one if the super middleweight champs.

Who do you think you are kidding. Be honest. You can't stand GGG. You have been trashing him ever since he got recognition by many as one of the top 3 pound for pound fighters in the world. That just drives you crazy. The last thing you in the world want is for GGG to defeat the Ward-Kovalev winner and be recognized by damn near everybody as the best fighter in boxing. You don't give a damn about him chasing greatness because you don't want him to be great. I believe you want GGG, a smaller middleweight, to move up 15 pounds to fight the Ward-Kovalev winner and get his ass kicked so badly that nobody ever puts him in their top 10 pound for pound list again. Normally I have much respect for you as a poster and for your great knowledge and love of boxing both past and present.I have read your threads and posts about GGG for the last couple of years and it's clear you strongly dislike him. You have hate blinders on when it comes to him and are incapable of treating him fairly. He isn't hiding behind the Canelo fight. He is a 34 year old middleweight who will fight any middleweight and is going after Jacobs next so what's so wrong and terrible about that. Of course he would like to fight Canelo because it's the best paying fight for him and he fights for money like every other boxer fighting today. He isn't letting the Canelo fight keep him from being a good middleweight champ who is trying hard to get fights with top middleweights Eubank, Jacobs and Saunders.

Has anyone jumped two weight classes to beat an opponent ranked in the top p4p. The last guy to jump up two weight classes and have success was PAC but Oscar was obviously more affected with the move back down to welterweight.

Daniel Jacobs, Golovkin's WBA mandatory, needs to find the courage to fight Gennady.

Hopefully he will. It's the next obvious step after Brook for Gennady.

Under the highly improbable circumstances that Ward would pull a win, it seems that there is a rematch clause in Kovalev's contract.
