why did benard go to 175 instead of 168?

and you say he was forced out of 160. Hopkins jumped straight over 168 and went after the man on the p4p list at light heavyweight. He could have easily fought at 168, but he wanted the man that was the so called biggest threat.

I give you an example of a middleweight going straight to light heavyweight with no tune up to fight the champ and you make excuses of why he did it. Lol. Did he do it? Yes or no

    keep deflecting

money. he fought antonio tarver on PPV.

If that's the case then Bumlovkin should have no issue with fighting Canelo @ 155lbs..

GGG fights now and Ward Kovalev will be in November so GGG still needs another fight in between.

Floyd should stop worrying about McGregor or Danny Garcia and should fight GGG. After that Gennady will fight Ward/Kovalev winner. Doesn't that sound fair?
What has Bumlovkin ever done in his career to warrant a Mayweather fight? Garcia is more accomplished and has a better resume than does the Triple Duck..

GGG fights at 171-72lbs. Taking on a legit light heavy would be giving away
15 to 20 pounds (weighin 175 re hydrate 188-93) come bell time.
If he is at his best fighting weight at 172 there is no way he can move to light heavy and be a legit light heavy.

If there were same day weigh ins the light heavy might only get to re hydrate
up 10-12 instead of 15-20 and that would be a more legit difference.

Personally if he gets all the 160 belts I think he moves up to challenge anyone.
However he is already slowing down, I see it in his steps and in his over all reactions. The hundreds of amateur bouts and hundreds od spar rounds and his pro career can sneak up quickly. I don't see his reactions after he punches to be as sharp as they were just 3 fights ago. The legs go first!!!!

does ggg get credit if he beats brook?

honestly, i dont see GGG vs Brook being competitive, nor do I see GGG being competitive with Ward

styles makes fights, imo size isnt the major factor

GGG gets absolutely no credit from me for beating Brook either. That's a joke of a fight.

Ward/Kov won't get credit for beating GGG either, the size difference is too great for me to believe it came down to just skill. I feel if Golovkin was the same size as Kovalev he would knock him out. But if GGG jumped to 175 to face him then I think Kovalev would beat him quite convincingly.

GGG has a weak defense and has not even been in the ring with anyone near as talented as Kov...with his lack of head movement and defensive lapses, Kov would spark him out.

Kov has a good jab, faster hands, and would force GGG to fight off the back foot...if he was a natural 168er or 175er I still see Kov giving him a beating.
