I dont think Oscar realizes how bad this upcoming ppv is going to flop! This will be a true test of Canelo's drawing power as he will be carrying the ppv on his own name.

Golovkin is in the same position Canelo was in with Mayweather. Canelo accepted a $5 mil guarantee for that fight and a CW.

The only one hurting himself with this is Canelo.

I was a big Canelo fan, but i happen to think from time to time and emotions won't rule my thinking.

For real, i am fed up loosing my time reading your agenda each day.

          on te ignore list.

I am even rooting for Brook when i know it is close to imposible he will win, but i am not going to read the same s h i t day in and day out.

Floyd's stardom and drawing power at that time was triple of what Canelo's currently is. Not only that, but Canelo's fan base is actually shrinking and his credibility is in the toilet for the way he ducked GGG and ran back down to 154.

What more to Golovtards fans want. Ggg got the weight he wanted and Canelo will get the money he wanted. These are fair negotitiatons. If ggg wanted a percentage cut he should negotiated weight. He didn't so he won't get a cut. Plain and simple
What is the base for the statement "Golovkin got the weight he wanted"? Nowhere in the article it says that Canelo is ready for 160 limit. They "invade 160 division" and may very well try to pull this catch weight bs again.
Another issue - before the fight will happen, Golovkin may get some hefty paydays in UK, much exceeding his current high of 2 mil. I'm not sure that GBP will be willing to up that one.
In any case - GBP is delusional in that he thinks that dropping the belt did not affect Canelo's marketability. He is damaged goods.

Difference is that Canelo has 4 million PPV's on his resume, his lowest career PPV had more buys than the only one Golovkin has headlined and his next fight is a PPV. Golovkin cannot claim any of this and his next fight is not a PPV in the US and is on HBO World Championship Boxing. Those facts are why Golden Boy can and will offer Golovkin a flat fee. Golden Boy knows that Golovkin has no real US PPV options. In fact, all of the Middleweights know that Golovkin's leverage is minimal so they will continue to demand a lot of money from him because unlike him, they have youth and other viable opponents working in their favor.

If K2 wants to make Golovkin a PPV superstar, they will need to either start sacrificing their terms or start overpaying opponents.

I truly believe this fight won't even crack the 300k mark.

Im guessing you didnt actually read the post I was responding to there. The poster mentioned GGG moving up to 168 for Ward as being fair
