"If not by the end of this year, then definitely sometime next year."

"We'll continue to build our brand."

"We'll see what the future holds."

"That's a fight that can be built up to be a pay-per-view, superstar quality matchup."

So when Danny Jacobs has finally built up his "brand" into a "superstar" by fighting once a year on Spike, which should only take, I don't know, a couple millennia, then he'll be ready to fight GGG, in the "future."

This is all Al Haymon code for QUACK QUACK QUACK. We've all seen this same pattern before. Jacobs doesn't want this fight until he can make 5 - 10 mil for it.

Jacobs sounds just like Peter Quillen and Canelo Alvarez with that "I'll fight Golovkin when the time is right" bullsh.t! When the rubber meets the road, Jacobs will do exactly what Quillen and Alvarez did when they were ordered to fight by the sanctioning body. He will give up his title instead of fighting a quality opponent!

I don’t think he’s mentioned Gennady’s name in the last three or four months, or even since he knocked out Quillin. It would be interesting if that’s the fight Danny and his people want to take," Sanchez told On The Ropes Boxing Radio

According to Sanchez, Jacobs is no longer.......

It was literally the day after GGG-Brook was official. Or maybe two days after. Definitely after. So please don't be fooled good man. Jacobs does not want to fight GGG next. He wants to wait until GGG gets older.

Jacobs is a good fighter, but he is not taking this fight unless WBA follows through with the mandate. He is convinced that he is worth a ton of money. Why, im not sure. He doesn't have much of a fan base. He would essentially be relying on Golovkin to bring the fans and ratings, but he is looking to be paid significantly more than Golovkin has ever been paid. There was an interview a few weeks back where he said something to the effect of, why would I fight GGG for 3 million when I could fight a couple fights against Quillin, or whoever, and make the same money. These guys got spoiled by Haymon' paydays and now have a delusional self worth. I wonder what they will do when PBC runs out of money; which appears to be imminent.

Think about it, if Mora dropped Jacobs hard and had him hurt just think what GGG would do to him. Mora may beat him Friday I give him a shot.
