How has he "beaten" them? He's never hurt an opponent that wasn't weight-drained like Dawson, or hit with head butts like Kessler.

Winning boring decisions with feather-fisted flurries to edge rounds with crooked referees who let him clamp his opponents arms and use other illegal tactics is not really "beating" anybody.

Ward is the worst fraud in boxing right now.

JDJ is turning into Abel Sanchez, it is better to just shut up and let your fighter take care of business if you're truly as confident as you claim to be

But LMFAO at "Avoid Knockout" JDJ need to stop listening to the dumb ***s on the internet because YEAH he is suppose to avoid getting knocked out what is he suppose to do show up, stand in front of Kovalev with his hands down and wait for Kovalev to knock him out? Yeah I'm sure JDJ and Kovalev fans WISHED it would be that easy!

Nobody is crying that Kovalev rabbit punches, or hits guys when they're down.

Exactly. Like Merchant once said, "I hope that it does boil over"!

Yes, because one guy is a harder puncher, it somehow magically turns them into a better fight lol...dumb

Didn't he knock barrera on his azz? Brand happened to be more durable than was thought perhaps...but Ward hit him with plenty of very good shots.

This is boxing, it doesn't matter how you win, you just do. Like I always say, if you want to watch amateurs slug it out like idiots, go watch mma.

Yet when Dmitry Mikhaylenko failed to stop Karim Mayfield, an elusive opponent who had never been stopped before, the HBO commentators especially Max Kellerman came down on him very hard.

Yet Kellerman praised Ward for his decision win over the 40 year old super-middleweight journeyman Brand.

                Double standard?

If Kovalev or Golovkin won dull decisions over journeymen, would they be considered good fighters? Or mediocre?

And would they be allowed back on HBO?

                Double standard?

Exactly. I favor Kovalev, but I don't need to belittle Ward. I know Ward is a live dog coming to 175.

Best fight that can be made right now.

I hope it lives up to the hype.

I got Kovalev in this one. I think his boxing skill is very underrated. He can do some things in there. He shows patience in the ring, and his patience will be tested against Ward. And that power advantage that Kovalev has just tips the fight in his favor. Kovalev just has to land a solid shot and it can turn the fight around, so I have to give it to Kovalev in this match up.

What does Golovkin have to do with this? What does Mikhaylenko have to do with this? Stick with your sorry ass 'Ward uses illegal tactics' argument crybaby. Every post that I see you post in, there is some sort of crying and whining going on.
