Also, as to how little effect Porters punches had on Brook, and how easily he handled the fight, thats why I say he is the best Welterweight in the world right now. There is no question in my mind the he would manhandle Pacquiao at this stage of Pacquiao's decline, and the only fighter you could possible rate above him would be Thurman, and look how much more difficult the Porter fight was for Thurman than it was for Brook, and Brook has only gotten better.

Im still 50/50 on if he will show us anything, but I went from **** why are you fighting a welterweight GGG, to Well, this could possibly be a leonard hagler in the making.
    It won't, don't worry

If he was 156 vs Porter on fight night, then how was he that much bigger? I don't get that logic.

True. But due to this fight I think encam agree that brook manipulate his weight to suit him for certain fighters. maybe he's trying to suck other fighters in to fight him. I dunno. I wonder what is his average fight night weight. I bet it isn't 156...

If his IBF title is on the line, he can hydrate no more than 157 (or 10 lbs above what he weighs in at)

Its easy to lose 8 lbs in a few days. You stop drinking and eating 24 hours before weigh inn, thats it. After the weigh inn you rehydrate, what do you mean how some fighters put on so mutch weight after the weigh inn? Because they drain himself for the weigh inn thats it. So 167.8 pounds 7 days before the weigh in is no problem at all, its easy.

He's trying to sell the fight and dismiss any size advantage. If he does actually show up on the night of at a "shoot" weight of only 160lbs it means hes trying to tempt Canelo or at least see if he'd be comfortable at a catchweight if that's what it takes to make the fight. It's smoke and mirrors until we see in ring weights if they even tell us. If he's less than usual it's all about Canelo.
Well GGG always weights 165lbs month before the fight, 163lbs week before the fight... then rehydrates into 170lbs on fight night...

                  When guys like Canelo 175 (m.b.f) - 168 (week b.f.) - 185 (Fight Night)

This means nothing, they are going about things in a way that makes the size difference seem less significant.

As soon as they step in the ring, the natural size difference will be abundantly clear.

if brook can take a fair amount of golovkins punches and actually tag triple ggg with some decent shots then its gonna be a great fight....I don't think he can beat golovkin but I do think he can hold his own for some time and actually test Gennady to the point of him giving respect and not bulldozering him into an early night....don't underestimate brook hes a very skliiful and accurate puncher and im so looking forward to this sleeper of a fight......brooks never been beaten and we really don't know how strong he will be at 160lb....respect to mr brook for taking on this huge task and facing the neon demon...instead of slating this fight lets look at what is and commend brook for trying to be great...brook might just surprise a lot of people...brook is a very skilled fighter
