Per afternoon weigh-in under the IBF rehydration rules. It's a potentially different fight night weigh-in than they typically give in the evening when they arrive at the arena.
Golovkin weighed 168.6lbs for his Lemiuex fight under the same standard.
The final hurdle was cleared in moving forward with tonight's middleweight title unification bout between Gennady Golovkin and David Lemieux. Both fighters were with within regulations for the International Boxing Federation (IBF) same-day weight check ahead of their HBO Pay-Per-View headliner at Madison Square Garden in New York City (Saturday, 9:00 p.m. ET, $49.95 SRP). All boxers fighting in an IBF-sanctioned fight are required to weigh in the morning of the bout, where they cannot gain more than 10 lbs. above the contracted limit. For this fight, the middleweights were required to weigh no more than 170 lbs. Golovkin tipped the scales at 168.6 lbs. during this morning's weight check, while Lemieux weighed 169.2 lbs.Comment

Stfu moron, I'll quote every single one of your posts. If the reason isn't obvious, idk what to tell you. It's a career WW vs a guy who's too scared to do ANY sort of cw with anyone, or move up to get fights people actually want to see. Ward? Ward's not concerned with golovkin because Ward is busy preparing for a real fight with a real champ and best guy in the division. I'm sick of all of you loser triple vaGGGina fans with your bull**** excuses about having no one to fight, it's an outright lie, they are diicking people around with lowball offers and then making it out like most of them don't want the fights, or they're scared. This is boxing and in today's boxing, if you want to make fights, you need to come up with the cash....Loeffler and his team are so full of **** I'm surprised GayLoveKin doesn't struggle to make heavyweight....so can you explain to me why it's a farce of a fight ?......brooks unbeaten with 36-0...no other welterweight champion wants to face him and he's considered the best in his division..he's also a very big welterweight who will not be dwarfed by golovkin.....now if canelo,Jacobs and Saunders had the the same size balls as brook then we wouldn't be arguing about this fight......now when it's comes to ward...he's a lighheavyweight who's facing a fellow light heavy and that's that....keep your hate for golovkin away from my posts because it's clear this is more abou your hate for golovkin than the issue of brook facing him

That's fine, I'm stating that there's a rehydration clause, and that's what hbo had him at...Nothing more.Per afternoon weigh-in under the IBF rehydration rules. It's a potentially different fight night weigh-in than they typically give in the evening when they arrive at the arena.
