Meh. Why does anyone care if the WBA sanctions this? Should be a good fight. Alphabet boys sanction tons of crappier "title defenses" for GGG and a lot of other alphabet belt holders. I'd rather see Golovkin fight good opposition and tell the WBA to eff off when they hold out their hand for "title fight" sanctioning fees.

He was super before he beat Geale. Geale was stripped because he wouldn't fight GGG.

And considering the super before him also ducked GGG, it's not hard to see why he was viewed as champ.

The super ducked him and was stripped for it. GGG was clearly the top WBA and MW, it's why most considered him champ because all Geale had done was horde it.
