Do I 100% expect Kell to beat GGG? No but Kell is my pick. I think Kell wins if he can take GGG's shot in anyway and even if he can't he still has a chance to outbox him and spoil up close, i think that says a lot.

And yes, I think Smith will beat Canelo but Saul is a nasty counter puncher who has the cards filled in before the fight so Smith's up against it. If Smith was at home I'd be picking him 100%.
Oh really??? “There wouldn’t be any issues for us to come down to fight Canelo. There would still be a title on the line for Gennady because he would be fighting under 160, so he would be able to defend the titles at 156 or whatever you have the weight be. But Gennady would be willing to come down in weight to fight Canelo. I wouldn’t say it would be at 154 but certainly, given that Canelo fought his last fight at 155, then you could say that Gennady would certainly be willing to come down in weight to make the Canelo fight.”

“There’s really no one at 160 pounds who could go the distance with Gennady,” said Loeffler.

      a) GGG is a horribly high risk low reward fight for Canelo and GBP. Short term there's reward but they're scared of legacy and (if humiliated wipeout) brand damage affecting future earnings. This is a very different fight from Canelo talking on Mayweather. In a Mayweather fight the loser gets a HUGE pile of cash, loses on points, doesn't get hurt and their reputation doesn't suffer because everyone who's anyone loses to MW. A MW fight is a huge earner with little or no career damage. In a GGG fight the loser gets less money and gets knocked the **** out after taking a beating. This can be career changing damage.

      b) GGG wants the fight because it's more money than any other fight in boxing for him. It's low risk high reward for him.

      c) Size and weight isn't an issue. Canelo isn't as tall as GGG but he's seriously thick set. Very heavily muscled. Comes into every fight heavy. 160 isn't a problem for him.

      d) GGG's team have finally decided to drop the nice guy act and put huge pressure on Canelo and his macho fight anyone anytime brand. I think that's a smart move for them. Funnily enough, it will make the fight bigger if it ever happens.

      e) GGG's right. GBP will wriggle and squirm and continue to try to find face saving excuses for avoiding the fight.

You can hate on GGG or Canelo all you like, but that's pretty much it.

PS Oh yeah - for what little it's worth, my opinion is that Canelo GGG isn't even a close fight. GGG breaks Canelo down and finishes him in 7 or 8. After the fight all the GGG haters will go on hating him. La plus ca change.
This is probably the most sensible, balanced, and unbiased post on the current climate of the situation.

Sanchez, no fan of catchweight fights for world titles, said Golovkin would never agree to fight Alvarez at anything less than 160 pounds, "not even an ounce."

"Why would he give in to a diva," Sanchez said. "Why would he give in to someone who's trying to change boxing? 155 is not a division.

Try again but these hypocrites can't get it right.

Maybe its just the constant cries of 'mismatch' on this site that have made me change my mind but i just cant see an upset now
Macklin crumbled the second Martinez hit him. Murray was on wobbly legs every time a Groves punch landed. Not sold on either guys toughness tbh. I know you're in denial about Cotto showing Geale has no chin but the truth is on tape. Wasn't even a huge shot from Cotto and Geale was down and finished. The same shots couldn't put a dent in Canelo except for one left hook late in the fight.

I understand GGG is the favorite and rightfully so.

Yet refused to negotiate with Canelo.

Once again both are hypocrites who just want the easiest fight for the most money. Save your trolling for someone who cares.
