As for whites being 'fair', it's beside the point. All fight fans are biased towards certain fighters for a lot of different reasons, whites just have no reason to biased towards white Americans like blacks have to be towards black Americans because there aren't many good white American fighters. Rather, we are in agreement and debating semantics. In the context of my discussion with the other guy we were talking about whites and blacks in America, so when I use the term white and black I mean it as whites and blacks in America.

It's the thing that most surprised me about this forum when I joined (and you see it all over the internet). A lot of black boxing fans becoming extremely insecure when a non-black fighter gets heat. Because he's been brave enough to fight in foreign countries - he's never demanded home country advantage.

Because his seek-and-destroy style is exciting to watch. He goes for the KO instead of running out the clock.

Because he doesn't childishly run his mouth and because he doesn't beat up women.

And because he wins by fighting within the rules, he doesn't need to use illegal head butt, to clamp his opponents arms, to low blow, to elbow, etc.
