  • He's saying out loud what a lot of people know but don't say because they're scared accused of being racist. But I don't give damn about suppressing an opinion that is blatantly apparently, due to a fear of being thought of as racist on a damn internet forum.

It's the thing that most surprised me about this forum when I joined (and you see it all over the internet). A lot of black boxing fans becoming extremely insecure when a non-black fighter gets heat. It's straight up ****ing weird. They almost wilfully ignore that Golovkin has to make a left-field choice, money/profile choice like Brook for a fight because a whole string of MW fighters want ZERO to do with him.

Let me give an example to illustrate my point. There are some people who defend Broner's and Adonis' asses whilst criticising Pacquaio and Golovkin relentlessly

Just ponder that for a minute.

I have no problem with Eastern European fans being proud of their countrymen. I just don't see why a white guy from Maine should derive any sense of pride from ggg's success.
There is no African-American "ethnic" group. African-Americans are in fact a mix of various African ethnicities, along with a significant (around 20% on average) admixture of European ethnicities. Black as an identity is a racial construct, in the same way white is.

As for who whites root for, they root for fighters from all over because - as you say - they have no real skin in the game. I doubt you'll find a white person who has racial pride in GGG. You'll find that what whites root for are "exciting" fighters (Tyson, GGG, Pac). They just prefer that style of fighting.

African americans are an amalgamation of various tribes and form their own ethnic group.

And lol at the notion of whites being inherently fair.

African Americans are indeed an ethic group.

By definition African-Americans are not an ethnic group. They are a mix of ethnicities. It's silly to argue about this.

As for whites being 'fair', it's beside the point. All fight fans are biased towards certain fighters for a lot of different reasons, whites just have no reason to biased towards white Americans like blacks have to be towards black Americans because there aren't many good white American fighters. Not that hard to understand.

See the post above. Again, this is a silly argument.

              • What is Racism if Human is the only race?
If that's the case then I am racist because I have no problem discriminating all humans without prejudice. All ethnicities can get it including my own.

A mix of ethnicities that came together and became it's own ethnic group. Smh. You calling them a mix of ethnicities means literally nothing considering they are not those ethicities anymore.

By that definitions whites are an ethnic group, right?

In which case the original point of the discussion I was having with the other guy becomes irrelevant, which is fine.
