This is my favorite punch Golovkin has landed. Stalks Monroe, slips everything he throws and puts him down with 1 accurate punch.

This is similar to the RJJ hands-behind-my-back KO type of stuff. Obviously it's not as good, but sends the same "I own your soul" message.

I love this funky left hook he kept landing on Rubio's forehead. That's not a place you're supposed to throw punches and he not only did so, he landed and put Rubio down with it.

It's crazy how GGG naturally punches with power in the way which would be required to go past Floyd's defence, this is what Maidana was doing specifically for his fights with Floyd but GGG does it naturally with monstrous power.

Maidana was mostly using chopping, downward arcing right hands to get over the top of Floyd's defence. It's comparitively easy to get power into a downward arcing right because it's a "back-hand" punch and you can bring your body weight in behind it in a natural transfer of momentum and force

The left hook is a lead-hand punch. You get power into a left hook by arcing it up and around, transferring strength from the legs and momentum from the turning of the upper body. A downward arcing left hook is not a natural transfer of force and momentum, which is why you hardly ever see it used in the ring.

To get enough power into a downward arcing left hook to KO a tough guy like Rubio was a remarkable feat by GGG. Especially as it landed on Rubio's forehead, which is the thickest part of the skull and a natural shock absorber in most animals, including human beings.

...hardly remarkable when you consider Rubio was KTFO out cold in 30 seconds by Kofi Jantuah.
