    http://thaboxingvoice.com/golovkin-a...4/15398?var=no

    3) lil'G totally refused to negotiate on the weight with the JMW A-side Canelo..... despite promising that he would, despite Canelo being his best possible payday, and despite losing all of that badly needed exposure and credibility.

If it quacks, then it is a duck.....

And what a tool you are, deciding to label Ward as a LHW..... you know that Ward was the SMW champion when they first started negotiating..... lil'G was willing to fight EVERYONE at 168 EXCEPT for Ward.
man you are a foul bitter hater, even your signature is about golovkin, hating.
Hes offered 168 to ward in the past ffs, ward said no cause his shoulder hurt.
ANd he is a LHW thats a fact now so i dont know why you are still crying about it.
You guys are so hung up on that quote from years ago. SHould he have said he'd fight anyone from 154 to 168 if he plans on staying at 160, no.
But in reality hes a middleweight champ fighting at 160 and theres noone whos offered to fight him at 160 that hes said no, so how is he ducking.
You are completely naive if you think weight was the reason canelo decided not to fight him, completely naive/******ed
Canelos said in the past 160 was no problem, but you dont criticise him.

      B) king ran the show.

      30k in 1987 is about 65k today.
      50k about 107k

i cant find the right term to find pinks or tuckers pay days per fight.

Tbf, both were screwed over by management & lawyers - they had to pay something like 80% of their purse to others so that is their take home amount

However, it was a flat % and any old fight would have gotten them out of their problems but they took the fight with Tyson as it was for the title

if you had a habit, like most athletes of the 80s, that money would be too good to pass up.

more money at stake nowadays and fighters are too smart.

no one here can click enter on signing just any piece of paper thrown at them.

I'm 100% convinced that, if the intentions to make it next were sincere, the combined requests by GGG and Canelo would have easily allowed an extension. It's happened before numerous times. But the WBC new they were worming out of the fight.

As for signing the contract... what contract? Did they reach a stage where contracts were written up? Did Oscar even give them a call the following morning?

But yes, I agree, the fight will eventually take place at the end of 2017 when Canelo is ready and GBP are confident enough.

Then you pretend you can't make 160. You pressured yourself into GGG by calling him into the ring and calling him out. You didn't have to do that and then fight him in 2-3 years you look scared by your own doing. We know you are cashing out all the softer touches before you ever fight GGG smart business but then don't brag about your Mexican Bal$$ you look ******. You are no Chavez in bravery. We the real fans see through you
I don't think you should use Floyd as an excuse/example for Canelo not moving up. Floyd fought Oscar at 154, Cotto at 154, and Canelo at 152. Not bad for a former Super Featherweight (130lbs.)!

i cant find where an extension was offered. what i get from the links is the hard 15 day time frame. the point im making about contracts, in general, is no one just signs one.

Nothing at all. I'm pretty sure he'll be allowed a full 12 week training camp at the very least. That's more than enough time since he himself said: "We don't **** around. I’ll fight him right now. Let’s put the gloves on and get in there with him.”

                    Wouldn't you agree?

From your statement one can deduce that Canelo may only be ready at the end of 2017.
