They simply didnt want the fight as Team BS literally only has one cash cow and a devastating defeat for Canelo would've ****ed them up big time
Boxing is a business but let's not try to paint this as anything more than a blatant duck and anybody that pays for Canelo's next fight is a straight up gullible fool

And yeah hes terrified of lara, a guy who drew to carlos molina and got dropped twice by alfredo angulo. Time to grow up and start supporting fighters instead of just hating on one fighter all the time. Fed up of replying to garbage
As you pointed out, Canelo is OBVIOUSLY a JMW.
1) lil'G ran around for FOUR YEARS talking all that "154-168" smack
2) lil'G promised that he would fight Ward at 168, and Canelo at 154.....
http://thaboxingvoice.com/golovkin-a...4/15398?var=no
3) lil'G totally refused to negotiate on the weight with the JMW A-side Canelo..... despite promising that he would, despite Canelo being his best possible payday, and despite losing all of that badly needed exposure and credibility.
If it quacks, then it is a duck.....
And what a tool you are, deciding to label Ward as a LHW..... you know that Ward was the SMW champion when they first started negotiating..... lil'G was willing to fight EVERYONE at 168 EXCEPT for Ward.

GGG is totally different in that there is a whole generation of fighters hoping that he gets old soon and refusing to fight him until he does
Take Jacobs as an example: good fighter and not without a chance but refuses to enforce his mandatory position whilst taking fights with Mora at a massive discount to a fight with GGG
Shameful really

on and on. GB needed more time and WBC wasnt having it so whats a guy to do ? as for the age angle ? 3g has had an extremely ease road compared to alvy. and its not as if alvy will stay young while 3g gets older. do you see any slowing down in 3g ? or is that the excuse 3g fans will use should alvy beat him in the not so distant future ?
boxing is a business.
And that there is the issue, isn’t it. GBP don’t want the fight next. They want it at the end of 2017. That’s ridiculous. Which organisation is gonna’ allow you to skip your mandatory for two years? A mandatory which the entire boxing world is demanding for now?
Canelo is considerably younger. He’s still reaching his physical peak. His prime body has many more years left. Whereas GGG can only be experiencing a dip at 34 (even if he isn’t involved in tough fights). But for argument’s sake, let’s assume GGG doesn’t dip. At best, he’ll remain exactly as he is. In which case, my point still remains: waiting allows Canelo to close the gap; thus time is on his side more.
And you can keep saying ‘boxing is a business’ all you want. It serves nothing more than to justify Canelo’s duck. It being for business reasons doesn’t make it better from a fighting perspective. Am I getting some of that money? Are you?
Our reward, as fans, is getting the highest quality fight at the right time. Our reward reward, as fans, IS NOT watching them count their money. You should have learned this from the Mayweather-Pacquiao farce.

Dude you are now the A side of boxing now that mayweather is gone not on his level at all but draw $ wise you are. You are following the cherry picking fighting smaller fighters past prime fighters Floyd blue print it is our fault if we let you do it if we pay Ppv for a fighter none of us ever saw Liam smith at 154 when you show up 180. Then you pretend you can't make 160. You pressured yourself into GGG by calling him into the ring and calling him out. You didn't have to do that and then fight him in 2-3 years you look scared by your own doing. We know you are cashing out all the softer touches before you ever fight GGG smart business but then don't brag about your Mexican Bal$$ you look ******. You are no Chavez in bravery. We the real fans see through you
