Is it a more significant fight? sure. But it's not a bigger event. Ward vs. Kovalev, you're looking at 10,000 people in attendance max. Golovkin vs. Brook is going to be around 20,000. Not to mention the gate and the ratings will be much higher for Golovkin vs. Brook.

See, I couldnt give a **** about Lara as I believe that Golovkin would have had to have deteriorated significantly for the fight to be competitive.

I would much rather see K2 throw the bank at BJS as he can fight, is a true MW and it would resolve this BS situation at MW once and for all
