Lil g was the mandatory. They publicly stated they would not go under 160 lbs. They stated this publicly to the media AFTER the Khan fight. So obviously they didn't accept Canelo's demands. So if he didn't drop the belt the fight would have to HAVE gone to a purse bid. How ****ing ****** are you? Tell me why Canelo didn't drop it immediately after the Khan fight? Why did they dropped it closer towards the deadline? Because obviously they were trying to make the fight happen.

Canelo called their bluff and dropped the belt and now lil g is BEGGING for the fight. I thought it was just about collecting the belts? Team lil G has the belt now so why are they still crying about fighting Canelo?

I don't know about that. Canelo has never fought a MW. I think the only thing he has is his counters. Footwork is mediocre and the only thing he's improved since Mayweather is his upper body movement. Well, his IQ increased but I see a more careful Canelo and the rest about the same. Honestly it'd be an interesting fight but GGG would probably hurt him. Given his speed and never been up against a MW I'd say the fight would end with a TKO.
