I'm with you on the reporters. They need to stop asking about ggg but all Canelo have to say is he isn't ready or say he doesn't want to talk about him. He keeps trying to discredit ggg but it just makes him look like a ***** for not fighting him.

when Golovkin failed to back up his big mouth, by relying on the WBC to manipulate Canelo rather than be a man of his word and negotiate with the A-side superstar in good faith..... he completely shot himself in the foot

If Golovkin is not prepared to make a sacrifice in order to land a meaningful fight - like the greats did - then he will not be remembered by boxing historians at all, let alone fondly.

Folks aren't being fair to Canelo.

They wanted this guy to fight the top MW without any time to adjust to the new weight.

That is a shi.tty deal.

They like to point out Canelo's ring weigh...but that's HIS WEIGHT...not that of his opponents.

Weighing 170 while fighting WW's is not the same as weight 170 and fighting MW's....mofos act like they don't understand this basic shi.t.

Kind of over Canelo but let's face it his resume is impressive, while Cotto is shot to bits and you could argue he lost against Lara. Still he blatantly ducked GGG and that can't be denied. He hopes Golovkin gets old over the next 18 months. Golovkin is almost 35!

I wouldn't say Cotto was shot...Cotto didn't take a clean shot their entire fight...in fact, I found the fight to be much closer than most.

Canelo has a point. However GGG was able to work his way into the mandatory position, and it's the most profitable fight out there. Plus we all want to see it so I don't understand why he would run from it.

Golovkin should have done what many have done before him..... which is negotiate with the A-side in good faith in order to make a meaningful fight..... which should not be rocket-science for a man who is supposedly willing to fight anyone from 154-168, especially considering the fact that his management publicly promised to negotiate with Canelo on the weight.

Golovkin pulled that diva shht, and he blew it..... so it's on him.
