LMAO, in this world fighters dont get better and theyre only as good as their worst days. Bizarro Boxing Land.

Of course, when its someone much more popular those rules dont apply.

He was rocked bad by Emmanuel Lartey. Not sure if it was mentioned. But his chin and defense are problematic IMO.

A lot of fighters struggle with not so good opponents early in their careers, but sure Spence needs to work on that defense, besides that, he is a beast.

You'd think Spence gets hit like Margarito reading all this junk.

Scientist should study his skin...he is not even marked up after taking all this terrible punishment.

Hard to compare because he hasn't quite faced the level of opposition most top welters have. So we'll see when he really steps up. But I've always had issues with his head movement (or lack thereof) and I thought the way he left himself open and the way he reacted after getting tagged by Lartey was telling. Happened at the end of the round or things would've got interesting. But to his credit he showed fire in the next round. But I still see that lack of head movement.

Thurman got him plenty by non top guys.
Garcia is a punching bag compared to Spence.
Porter can't spell defence...nor can lil Timmeh.

                Getting tagged by Lartey....so what?

It's not like Lartey is some bum they pulled out the stands. He's a damn good fighter.

                  Really? Didn't know that.

I'll have to go back and watch his earlier fights.

I've only seen Phil Lo Greco onward.

He got tagged and he was hurt--wobbled. Could mean nothing but could mean something. It's why we discuss boxing on these boards.

It was the second to last round of the fight. And occurred in the final seconds of the round. I wanna say it was the seventh.
