hilarious to see so many people bending over backwards to defend Floyd. I can only imagine the comments if Bob or Oscar put a guy on the shelf because he wouldnt move to Vegas.

Davis is in the wrong for a variety of reasons, first he shouldn't voice his frustrations through social media especially when it's his boss he's venting about. Second he needs to pack his bags and quit acting like a ****** n.igger hood celebrity and be on the next plane to LV. Even if his surroundings isn't negative which it probably is , getting free of those distractions is probably needed.

when you "shelf" a guy, its no longer just "advice", its an ultimatum. Floyd is his promoter, not his father or guidance counselor.

Like Arum shelved Garcia over a contract dispute or Walters is on the shelf for not taking the Lomachenko fight? Like Dana White put guys on the shelf for not taking fights? He's telling the kid to get away from that environment and come get focused. Why should he put him in there with Sosa if he's not focused and ready for the fight? That would be malfeasance if a promoter put a kid in the biggest fight of his life when he's not properly trained and focused. Can you imagine GGG, Kovalev, or Lomachenko telling K2, Main Events, and Top Rank they don't want to come to America?

And like I said, I can only judge by what I see him post on social media. Just like it probably wasn't a good idea for him to just do a live broadcast and once again threaten to beat Steve Kim.

I gotta side with FMJ on this. FMJ is getting tank a title shot that he really hasn't earned at this point in his brief career. I see no reason why tank can't move camp to Vegas, permanently or just when he is prepping for a fight. He can always send money home in his absence. Anybody that has ever achieved something as great as a world title or a shot at one had to make sacrifices. Tank needs to get folks out of his career and do what's best for tanks career. Blowing this title shot would be a mistake because he may never get another one.
