Please provide a link to show us that Ortiz was making just 50K for headlining HBO cards? I do know that OVER 2 years ago Ortiz was making 80k fight purses and this was BEFORE he won the interim belt, before he fought on HBO PPV and before he headlined HBO cards. So you want us all to believe his purses went down not up from when he was fighting on Golden Boy live undercards on FS1 as an unknown prospect? Stop with the lies kid.

Yes I do. The WBA Champion get a 60/40 split. Back in early August before the split the bid was a minimum of $600K.

      600*60% = A MINIMUM of $360K for Ortiz.

But then again you say Khan/Canelo only did 250K PPV buys lol....

All the top heavyweights are ducking Ortiz. His best shot at getting one in the ring is by his mandatory shot against Fury/Klitch who are fighting on HBO. So if he backs out and vacates his spot against that winner why on earth would Joshua who is young take the risk and fight Ortiz? If Joshua is going to step up and fight someone really good on Showtime it would be Wilder who he can make more money fighting. The top heavyweight have no incentive to fight Ortiz they will wait till he gets old or until some belt organization forces them too.

So again are you suggesting that because GBP has a HBO card in May & another in September they are suddenly at risk to go out of business? Cuz thats what the other guy was implying.

And sure Canelo is GBP, hell Canelo is arguably the face of boxing even as a ducker, but most promoters would cut off their pinky finger to have David Lemieux on their roster. GBP is one of the premier boxing promoters in the business today. They are gonna be fine for years to come.

Ortiz made 80k for Lateef friggin Kayode. CaneloMaidana is an idiot if he thinks Ortiz is fighting for less these days.

Well, CaneloMaidana is an idiot anyways, but thats besides the point.......

Nobody wants bum Lemiuex, Alcine showed what he is and he fought Tapia for a reason.

The premier boxing company is going to have 3 HBO cards in over 4 months? You guys just love HBO.
