Kovalev fought a very tough cookie who has been in with some good names, and who has never been stopped. Going by Ward's last 5 years, this doesn't changeComment

Nobody cares what a trainer has to say before the fight. Maybe we might listen to him afterwards or if they're doing a special.
A fight is a fight. You don't fight professionally so stop trying justify what you think fighting is. Ward may get a wake up call, or he might win. All you can do is hope who wins like everyone else.Comment

So you claim Ward is a dirty fighter because he and his opponent both had points deducted? You claim Ward is a dirty fighter but apparently the referees and official judges of his 30 professional fights did not agree with your opinion.
Foolish and ridiculous to underrate any boxer that hasn't lost an amateur or pro fight in 20 years, is an Olympic Gold medalist, undefeated in 30 professional fights and is a former unified and Lineal World Champion.Comment

7 pages of comments just on this one article about JDJ. So maybe you just don't like what he's saying. BTW, I boxed as a teen, and have kept up with the sport since. Even helped promote and helped train. I'm not a know-it-all like you though, but hey, we all can't be that. Must be great knowing everything.
And I wasn't trying to disrespect you. But you have never fought on their level which is what I should've said. World class boxers in tough fights will do anything to win legally. Mustafa Hamsho butted Hagler on purpose and he was the one who got cut, not Hagler and lost in less than 4 rounds.Last edited by Raggamuffin; 08-24-2016, 06:40 PM.Comment

Kovalevs not that slow and his balance and timing are great. Besides the jab to the stomach is one of the easiest punches to land and Kovs are like hammers.Comment
