I'm all for UFC that event last night was nothing short of amazing I don't think you will ever see anything this year that comes close to it that was a total war both guys going at it.

Boxers need to take the same idea If they want to have a huge following be charismatic and bring a show this running about and just doing enough for 12 rounds is an absolute dullard boring event that nobody wants.

I would never recommend people to watch guys like Cormier (who are happy to lay on the ground for 25 minutes), but guys who will stand up and are excellent to watch (McGregor, Rumble, Overeem, Diaz, etc...) are very much must watch TV for me.
That's considerably better the whole lay and pray tactic than the clinching of boxing which actually isn't legal.

Some of the wrestling of UFC can be quite good to watch.

Great Idea forget the art of 'Boxing' ( hit and not get hit ) : more shots to the brain that sounds like a brilliant idea go into a gym and present that notion to the trainers and fighters in a deadly sport ; Im not talking about some caveman second rate combat sport where you can foot stomp your opponent and use your head to pin your opponent against a cage to pitty pat him and slap him around...Im talking about Boxing!!!! MMA is ****!

Its certainly better than lay and pray ; Werdum laying on the ground several times literally begging Overeem to get into a ground fight is one of the most embarrassing moments in combat sport history.

I don't mind wrestlers, I mind the 'lay on the ground and kill time' guys.

And this is why boxing is a dying sport, we have ********** defending boxers putting on an absolute boring mediocre performance.

Ah yeah okay I get what you mean now lol, get knocked down lay on your back and wait about 10-20 seconds until the referee tells you to stand up.

All in all, I think the most part I like most about the MMA combat sport is the fact that there is less chance to cheat in the sport and If you do i.e. hold onto the cage or low blow the referee will be very quick to do something.
