what do you prefer to watch (thoughts on UFC fight)

What do people prefer watching, an MMA fight last night with both men trading throughout and both getting wobbled, 3 knockdowns, big shots landed and almost constant edge of seat action and momentum shifts? Or fighters like ward, rigondeaux, klitschko, lara and their most recent performances? Discuss...

Definetly rather watch Rigondeaux, Ward etc
Boxing masterclass impresses me way more then sluggers
Personally i like watching highly skilled athletes using tactical warfare rather then hillbilly brawlers wild swinging for the KO (which is like 95% of the UFC roster)
For example i might be one the few people who didnt enjoy Salido vs Vargas for example, sure its a bloody epic battle, but its not fun to watch them slugging it trying to go for the KO instead of outboxing and letting the KO come to them,
When it comes to agressive fighters i like to watch Golovkin, Beterbiev etc because they are highly skilled fighters, dont try to go for the KO... they let the KO come to them... and aslong as u keep pressure sooner or later theyre gonna fold
When i watch UFC i like to watch either Jon Jones, because he is seriously skilled and Khabib Nurmagomedov because he is a grappling beast, and also Marat Gafurov who is also a grappling phenomenon, fights for One Championship

Incredibly ignorant post. The reason for the red bar is apparent.

              Boxing.

I do really enjoy MMA fights that are mostly contested standing up. McGregor is pretty much guaranteed action.

yea, me too, obviously prefer boxing overall but a stand up fight like that where they both came to have a proper war was great entertainment too. fights like that are what progresses the sport, all the people i watched it with say they are going to watch more mma. That usually doesnt happen when they watch the boxing with me as although there has been notable exceptions (thurman porter, frampton santa cruz) the sport isnt offering good entertainment with mismatches and snoozefests e.g brand v ward

                  Absolutely.

I would never recommend people to watch guys like Cormier (who are happy to lay on the ground for 25 minutes), but guys who will stand up and are excellent to watch (McGregor, Rumble, Overeem, Diaz, etc...) are very much must watch TV for me.
