Even the best of fighters have had bad nights, or found themselves against opponents who matched up badly against them. Sugar Shane Mosley was like that with Forrest. Is Vernon better than Shane? No. They're careers have proven that...but if they fought again fifty times over, Shane wouldn't win one fight against him. The styles just match up poorly.

Eventually Floyd will lose. I like the guy but 154 might be his downfall. Does that mean he isn't a great fighter? No. Even the all-time-greats have lost fights. Robinson, Ali, Leonard. They all lost. Floyd could be among their names if he fought tough opponents and won most of the time.

PBF will lose but it wont detract from his greatness if its against great boxers. Its better to have fought and perhaps lost to great boxers than to never have fought anyone anybody really rated at all.
PBF should be proud of what he has achieved up to now. But he is stepping it up now, and he knows he has to. A loss should be just around the corner in actual fact.

The best record going as far as wins and depth of opp is probably JLCastillo. His **** is unreal:
            Stevie Johnston (2X)
            Cesar Bazan
            Floyd Mayweather (2X)
            Juan Lazcano
            Joel Casamayor
            Julio Diaz
            Diego Corrales (2X)
And now Hatton...that's a ballsy resume.

lol, since when a close fight is getting killed???, what a nuthugger, how convenient that you say the rematch makes you forget the not so close first bout, just because in your heart you know PBF lost

ps. i love floyd but he lost that fight 8 rounds to 4 115-112.
the rematch actually came down to the last round, when PBF took it clearly, but it was closer than the first one IMO

He wont make it pass Williams....

                      lol.

First you were bitching about Margarito fighting Cotto thereby ducking his mandatory in Williams. Now you're saying he's ducking Cotto to face his mandatory because he was scared.

Just quit discussing this issue.....you're flip flopping left and right.
