Antonio Margarito: Margarito is a go for broke warrior who looks more middleweight than welterweight. Long laboring as the most avoided fighter in boxing, he is hungry for a fight against the top fighters in the sport. Mayweather would be forced to hide all night from Margarito, and look to potshot him and be out. Mayweather turned down 8 million to fight the Tijuana fighter.

Oscar De La Hoya: The Golden Boy's hand speed and punching power would make this an entertaining bout. This would be a big money fight, particularly since De La Hoya looked very impressive in blowing out Ricardo Mayorga in his last fight. This would be an even money fight.
I cant argue with your point playa, they are valid. But I can add that Marg. is not worthy of fight Pretty Boy..He needs a few more fights under his belt playa. He will be looking for that lucky punch against Pretty Boy. Hard worker, yes ill give him that but worthy...i dont see it. DLH is not going to happen so its looks like we might see Pretty Boy & Hatton by the end of the year....I sure hope so....

Mayweather claims to be the best at 147, Margarito does also. Why not they both stop talking **** and **** out. When Mayweather came to 147, he inherited the responsibility of shutting up Mayweather. And at 147, who is worthy of Mayweather? Zab Judah? Margarito is worthy to fight anyone at 147.

Great point playa...I guess I feel the whole 147 deal....You if he the best then shut everyone up in that weight..147..i feel that..I dont know tho playa...Pretty Boy's hand speed is crazy...some like lighting fast...even at 147...yo boy marg. is also a lucky homer run puncher, almost hoping something connects....I can truly see Gatti Take II all over again......I have to go playa...holla at you later...

thats just ******, if he keeps fighting nobodies and dip****s like judah he will, but he will lose for sure if he starts fighting real boxers again. and he should have a loss on his record anyways. everyone knows floyd got a gift against castillo. so we will see what happens when floyd fights a bigger pressure fighter and gets his ass handed to him.

                • tough call

I dont know what makes people think Hatton can hand Mayweather a lose, Mayweather aint gonna stand in front of him, his gonna peck him away like he did Judah. Margarito would have a better chance but not by much. In the end though if Mayweather wants his place in History he's gonna have to go after the best like De La Hoya did, and i dont see anyone out there who can handle such a well perfected boxing style, but this is boxing, and what i love about boxing is everyone has a puncher's chance and no ones chin is unbreakable. All the boxing skills in the world can't save you from a well landed power punch. The only person i see possibly handing PBF a loss is De La Hoya cause it'll be at a higher weight(i dont think de la hoya will face PBF at welterweight.), Mayweather looks small as a welterweight and i dont think he could handle Oscar's speed & power.
