I totally agree! If what he says is true, then I shouldn't have to spend $70 to watch it, since a didn't spend a dime to watch Kovalev vs. Hopkins!

JDJ is definitely trying to get into Ward's head. I don't believe he believes what he says, but he quite masterfully rubs salt into Ward's wounds. Andre in some way deserved this kind of attitude.

And yet, Kovalev couldnt even knock down Hopkins.

Not only did Kovalev knock him down and win every single round on every single scorecard but if you watch the end of the fight Hopkins legs were buckeled getting ready to fall. As soon as Hopkins was dropped in the first round he went into survival mode.. Not a very intelligent move

I feel that Bhop is slicker and craftier than Ward yet Kov was able to completely neutralize him with his size and strength. Hopkins is the ultimate spoiler and nothing he tried worked against Kovalev.

What ward has over Bhop is an offensive arsenal and power. Question is, does he have enough power to keep Kov at bay?

stop, a near 50 Hopkins is better than alot of top fighters but ward isn't 1 of them. This will be a much more competitive fight.

I know, a 50 year old Hopkins would not go UD 12 rounds with bums like Brand and Barrera. He would of finished them KO in 6 or less.

Ward should be thanking Kovalev for opportunity to earn a payday.

BHop was good enough to scare off Stevenson. That's how Kovalev ended up fighting him.
