thats a style dream for wlad and an absolutely stylistic nightmare for toney. toney is great at the shoulder roll to block those wide punches and hooks,,,but against a straight sharp shooter like wlad he'd be a sitting duck,,plus the fact he'd have no chance of getting inside that jab. he'd have a much better chance against peter who's much slower and throws his punches wider and longer

Exactly, and as someone has already put it, it would be a nightmare style mismatch for Toney. Wlad can hit him all night without fighting him on the inside, unlike most others.

Wlad-Toney is such an absolute mismatch that I don't think I'd even pay for it. What would be the point of seeing a fat bowling ball get bounced around the ring?

Klitschko- NOPE- no explanation needed
Rahman- NOPE- just tried and failed miserably
Valuev- NOPE- probably too big for him
Lyakhovich- NOPE- Sergei's too active with too good of a jab
Brock- NOPE- too active, too determined to lose to a blob
Sultan- NOPE- Toney might actually get stopped if he tries rope-a-dope
Byrd- MAYBE- but doubtful. I'd favor Byrd in a close decision
Brewster- MAYBE- more promising for Toney, Lamon doesn't have a good jab
Peter- MAYBE- probably Toney's best shot at beating a top 10 HW, if Sam doesn't land.

To me, that doesn't make him much of a factor in the division. The only way he gets a title is if Maskaev somehow beats Rahman. Toney could beat Maskaev, but then he'd get obliterated by Wlad. But there's no way in hell Toney has even earned ANOTHER shot after failing in two consecutive title shots.

Actually Toney manages himself, I've heared Toney saying, that Wlad is ducking me just like the rest of the guys in HW division. Toney says that it's hard for him to get a fight, even Peter team turned him down now.
