Because don king is invloved. After the Ruiz vs Valuev fight, king relinquished his promotional contract with Ruiz. If king really liked Ruiz as a fighter and he brought money in for king then Ruiz would have definitely gotten a rematch right away with Valuev.

This fight will probably will never happen, because Wlad people will not take this fight. The only HW I see giving Toney problems is Sergi, reason being he has alot of tools for an HW, also Sergi is much faster then Wlad.

Wlad has good offensive tools, but he has way too many problems to dominate the HW divison for a long time.
toneys people wont let it happen, Klitschko seems to be the only champ available for toney, why doesnt he call him out???
Serge is a good fighter I but he is not faster then Wlad, Wlads hands are the fastest in the heavyweight division. I dont respect Toney because he gets title shots like nothing and doesnt even seem to care about it, coming in at 240 lbs and his height is only 5"9, he lost all my respect in the Rahman fight, and If a fight with Klitschko is ever gonna happen toney would get the worst beating of his life...

One thing I will tell you, Wlad will never KO Toney, it just wont happen, if anyone gets stopped in this fight, it will be Wlad.

say whatever u want and we all dont like Ruiz but hes never turned a challange down, he was the guy calling everybody out and wrtting letters to everyone of the champs to unify the titles, I tink ruiz will take this fight I will be suprised if he doesnt...

James Toney was the man, but lets face it now he is an old,bald,240 pound tub of goo. Also he is a non puncher at heavyweight, Wlad would KO him, my arse JT can't be knocked out who do people think he is??

get ready to be surprised my friend.

ruiz is still rated higher by the WBA than the IBF. though he has not gotten the rematch with valuev that he desired he will likely find himself in the position of being offered an eliminator for a shot at valuevs title. if he is offered two eliminator matches... one against ray austin for the chance to fight valuev again (remember austin turned down match against igbraminov himself cause he is waiting for something else)
and one against sultan igbraminov for the right to fight for wlad klitschkos title..... which do you think he will be choosing?

Are you kidding me man, Toney's people will love to have this fight, fact is Wlad & the rest of the so called top guys don't want to fight Toney. Toney wants Wlad, but I'm pretty sure Wlad rather fight guys like Ruiz & Byrd instead of Toney.

                I don't want point, I want a real $$.

ive only read the first page of this thread. i can't believe what i'm reading. i hate on ruiz but ibragimov is hardly above the clubfighter stage in his career at this time.he doesnt have a chance against john louise. i'm amazed that the hoaky ibf is even calling for this.

i object to calling a fighter with extensive amateur success and an olympic medal a clubfighter. sultan has skills and kknows how to use them, and has completely owned everyone he has met on the "clubfighter" level.

if he is a clubfighter than sam peter is one, actually even more so.

to be consise i said hardly above a clubfighter. i don't know what else to say because he hasn't reached the journeyman level yet fighting c- level guys.
oh man, sam peters. you see i consider peters a journeyman after the klitmoe fight. only with todays hvwt clown division would you see c level skilled fighters like ibragimov and peters be offered belt fights against b level clowns like ruiz and klitmoe.
