A good way to determine this is look at who he fought, and all the variables around it.

People like to just look at names, but real boxing fans know a name is just a name.

Beating RJJ today means nothing like beating him back in 2000.

        stop it.

old pacquiao would have put away bradley. why is canelo a great fighter?

what great fighter has canelo beaten? and mosley? are you serious?

mosley was into his late 30s and was 1 year and a half inactive and no, margarito was not his biggest win or his best opponent. margarito was a shot fighter after the punishment he took in beating cotto.

gatti? a shot to **** gatti ar eyou serious???

gatti was already shot by the time oscar got to him.

hatton? collazo beat him first. they robbed him to keep the floyd superfight intact.

oscar? you're bragging about beating a semi retired coked out (hindsight) once a year fighting oscar who only got public justification to fight floyd by beating an even shotter boxer in ricardo mayorga.

corrales is his best win but corrales isnt a hall of fame fighter.

        come on now.

            No, no, no and no.

People need to stop with it, Margo is def not his biggest win and Mosley was old, past it.

ODLH is Shane's best win/prime moment.

Love it or hate it he is the best of this era.

You should have watched him earlier in his career when he was younger and in the lower weight classes, he dominated them swiftly with combinations and fast knockouts!

he shut off pacs offense? pac still landed the much cleaner punches so how did he do that? because he didn't get hit as much as pac hit margarito that means he deserved to win? lmao thats not how you score fights. fights are scored based on what the fighters do to each other and it was pac landing clean punches and not floyd. should have ast least 2 losses to pac and castillo but thats still very impressive to only have 2 losses in a career.

mosley was almost 40 and clearly well past it. 1 good win in what 5 years? hatton was terrible at welter, cotto 5 years too late, hoya well past it, etc...good fighter but overrated for sure

Yes he's overaed. He arguabky lost to maidana and unanjmously lost tio castillo.

Jmm said pac is better than him.

Mayweather utterly embarrassed JMM, JMM never mentioned a rematch or anything because he knew he couldn't ever beat Mayweather. He also told Pacquiao to his face that Pacquiao would lose to Mayweather before KTFO 6.
