Good. Finally. And it's not like either wants to avoid the other.

This is such a clickbait article. WBC hasn't made their ruling yet so everything is status quo for the time being. That's a trend about websites I have noticed, like in politics at Slate or Politico where they'd feed articles to different factions to get views. Everybody gets their talking points. This article is misleading combining Wilder's statements with no change in the rankings and doesn't indicate what the WBC ultimately is going to do either way.

How about we rather talk about the fact that he aint never failed a drug test instead of pulling long ass logs out of our asses.
Yup. All you have to do is look at ALL these boxers where they started and where they ended. Heck Canelo/Cotto started at 139 and both made it to 160lbs. With Canelo adding another 11-14 lbs on fight night. Most of these boxers blowup 15-20 lbs between weigh-in and fight night...

I still don't understand how your COMPLETELY clean for 3 tests, low amounts found in the 4th, then completely clean in the 5th???

Don't forget to ADD that he was TOLD Pedvetkin failed! He went off what was TOLD to HIM, PEDvetkin, AND the WBC by Vada. They shouldn't of even said the failed word. But they did! If you want to blame someone, blame the lab that doesn't even know Vada's OWN guidelines...

I find this ruling to be a bit disappointing. Alexander Povetkin should be suspended for at least a minimum of two years and fined an undisclosed amount for his subterfuge/cheating and then let him earn his top spot back up the WBC ratings.

This is why so many people are turned off by the sport because of decisions as this one. It sets a very bad precedent by rewarding fighters for their bad behaviors. What you do is punish and discipline them in hopes of correcting and reforming their unethical ways in and outside of the ring.

This is great news. Now the only way bumsquad can avoid his beating from povetkin is by vacating. Happy days.

That fight is gonna be much bigger now after the drug testing controversy and I think both fighter will be willing to take it however both fighters should be tested from the day the WBC rules that the fight is on until the fight happens and the fight should take place in America. The Russian sporting organisations have lost a lot of credibility to me and they shouldn't be trusted, I think with the right judges you can geta fair shake in the US.

I just wish the same people putting so much time into investigating Povetkin would have at least kept it 100% fair why was Floyd Mayweather not properly investigated?
                      Boxing politics absolute bull****!

I thought Povetkin already cleared his name against this ****.
