He did, but I think Froch was at the end of his career. He didn't have another fight in him.

That extra weight Brook is putting on could be a bad thing. If he is not fleet of foot, he's in trouble in my opinion. ****ing with GGG is suicide reguardless.

Froch vs GGG is an interesting fight.

I think GGG is a slightly better fighter than Froch P4P Wise but Froch has a mean size, reach advantage being a big 168 pounder.

They have had some opponents in common, Bute and Direll (GGG fought them in amateurs tough).

Both stopped Bute and fought close fights with slick Direll.

This fight would have been interesting and bloody.

Brook will lose some fat and gain some musle, he won't be 176 in the ring, probably be 165 ripped wich is OK for a 160 fight.

He will definitely be in decent shape for this fight, Brook is built like a 154 pounder.

The main problem for Brook is he's not used to be stalked by a MW, let alone a pretty much heavy handed one.

Brook is used to WW lightening speed, and it will help him.

Doing well versus a MW is possible for a WW, Duran and Leonard did well vs Hagler and didn't get stopped.

So a fast WW would have a shot to outbox him from the outside using superior speed.
It would take some great defense and footwork.

Hopkins was killing WW because he's a huge 6 footer with a mean reach.

6.1 is more of a frame of LHW.

Trinidad, Oscar had to reduce the distance vs Hopkins, so they had to stalk the bigger man and they obviously got stopped doing it.
