  • It is absurd to sell Kell Brook as some sort of lucrative fight.

What rubbish, nobody has EVER referred to Brook as a lucrative opponent.

NOBODY knows Brook or Saunders, neither of them are a draw.

If Golovkin needs Brook, it is because the US audience are not buying his ****, and are no longer listening to his weak excuses..... so he is off to the UK to peddle his wares to the brits.

    1) I will never believe that the relatively-unknown, largely-unproven, welterweight, Kell Brook..... would generate many more buys than Saunders would..... if at all.

At least Saunders is a middleweight who can say that he will box-the-**** out of Golovkin..... whereas, Kell Brook is simply doomed..... the brits are not that ******.

I simply do not believe that Golovkin/Brook in the UK, would sell better than Golovkin/Saunders..... also in the UK, but definitely not in the US.

    2) If Golovkin cannot generate more than 97,000 buys to pay Saunders more than 1.5mil for a unification bout in his SECOND PPV effort..... then he needs to stay in the UK and hope for a "lucrative" Murray rematch....

FACT: no way is 1.5mil the best they could have offered Saunders

FACT: no way is " Quillin money " the best they could have offered Jacobs

And before anyone attempts to tell me that Jacobs doesn't "deserve" more than he got paid for Quillin..... you will need to do a fkn GREAT job explaining to me how Kell Brook "deserved" the 4mil he got LMAO

Do they want those fights, or not?..... obviously, not.

GROW UP and hold a grown man responsible for his actions, you clowns.

          good comeback, genius

I will take that as an admission that lil'G/Saunders would have sold at least 97,000 PPV's in order to generate MUCH MORE MONEY than the 1.5mil low-ball they offered Saunders.

I did not criticize Golovkin for refusing to move up.

I criticized Golovkin for running around for FOUR YEARS saying that he could beat anyone at 168, and that he was willing to fight anyone at 168, but then pulling that catchweight stunt on Ward..... then issuing numerous statements talking about "focusing on 160, blah, blah"..... only to IMMEDIATELY start calling out Froch (and other SMW's) as soon as Ward moved up to LHW.

            BIG difference there.
I guess Ward is high risk low rewards unlike Froch.

Just like Forrest would have been for Floyd at 154, much better to fight DLH.

And why not saying Roy ducked Lewis when he fought Ruiz for the WBA title???

That's pretty much business here, all fighters are doing the same.

So maybe they weren't eager to fight Ward.

But it's not like Ward was fighting at 160 and so GGG was clearly ducking him.

I mean, you don't duck a fighter in an higher division where you never fought.

In this sport, there are divisions and you have to fight the bests in the division to compete.

That's mainly why I would like GGG to fight Jacobs and BJS then Quillin, Eubank, Lee are OK fights.

but GGG doesnt move up so......
If Direll with his nice slick style couldn't school GGG for 4 rounds of 2 minutes, I think his sometimes fragile mind wouldn't stand 36 minutes with GGG stalking his ass.

Don't talk ****, you know that I am a knowledgeable long-term fan who always puts boxing first.

That is why I don't flip-flop and make a fool of myself, like so many others do.

                That angle won't work bro.

You know I am not a hater, which is why you just attempted to debate with me on about 4 different topics..... if I was just an ignorant hater you would refuse to debate with me, or put me on ignore.

Let me give you an example.....

you said "You guys are lying all day, saying he never moved up"......

                1) that was the am's, we are talking about the pro's

                2) I do not think that Golovkin should be required to "move up"..... he should fight where he feels most comfortable..... many great fighters only ever fought in 1 division..... Golovkin is NOT great, just saying.....

So, it is absolutely incorrect to direct that comment towards me..... and if I really was a hater, I would take the opportunity to criticize Golovkin for not moving up..... not defend him for fighting where he feels most comfortable.

                Let's agree to disagree, again.

The whole point of that earlier discussion, is that styles make fights, and triangle-theories do not work in boxing..... Golovkin could have beaten Dirrell 99/100, but that does not mean he could have beaten Froch.

It doesn't mean he can't beat Froch either, just that he would have to get that win in the ring, not on paper.
Fair enough, I just don't like when your comments are excessive.

                And sometimes they truly are.

The point is Golovkin was a great am, wich is an unbelievable accomplishment.
In amateur tournaments, YOU CAN'T DUCK the bests.
                You're tested for real.
International Amateur pedigree almost never lies (Ward, Floyd, Wlad, ODLH, Boo boo Andrade, Rigo, Loma).

GGG is not unbeatable like Ward or Rigo seems to be, he lost in the olympics final, that russian guy schooled him.

GGG's amateur pedigree and unified pro champ status make him a boxing character for sure.

Calling Golovkin a fraud or an TOTALLY unproven fighters is retarted.

He ruined guys like Murray or Geale who gave troubles or beat champs like Sturm, Barker, Martinez, Abraham and so I believe GGG is on a level above those guys.

He has a lot more to prove tough to convince everybody, agreed.

You have to accept some people believe in GGG, and this, not because he's white or whatever fcked up reason.
