And FYI this is one of my most anticipated fights happening this year now. Not saying much since there aren't many good fights on the schedule besides Kovalev-Ward, but GGG-Brook, in front of 50,000 or however many people, Brook undefeated, excellent fighter, and the only thing that was bad about the matchup was the size difference, but now you see Brook is 10 pounds heavier than GGG.

So GGG is fighting a top, undefeated fighter, who is also just as big as him. In the U.K., with a great atmosphere. So it's not legacy fight, but it's not Canelo-Khan either. Khan had been KOd at 140, fighting a middleweight in Canelo. Brook is naturally much bigger, has never showed chin issues. It's a totally different situation. Not a legacy fight for GGG, but this is another very good matchup to go along with the Lemieux fight, Stevens fight, and the true lineal champ at the time Martin Murray. Can't wait to see it!

But after, Jacobs needs to step up like yesterday, and Tom Loeffler needs to get GGG some legacy fights before he gets old and slow, which will be sooner than people think. They better get Gilberto Ramirez before that happens because Ramirez is a way taller, longer monster, the best Mexican fighter alive right now in his prime (so not counting JMM), otherwise he will surprise Team GGG and they won't like what happens. And I picked GGG to beat Ward when GGG came on the scene at his absolute peak against Proksa when he was 30, but I will be picking Ward by blowout against GGG if that fight happens when GGG is 36 or 37 years old.

So Loeffler needs to step it up. But given everyone has been ducking GGG, this fight in the UK against an undefeated, excellent fighter who is just as big as him, both with entertaining styles and power, is a fight I am definitely looking forward to.

I very rarely reply to any convo which involves froch as the guy is a fcking tool!!

Like you said he had the chance to fight the guy but he chose to retire!

Also I'm sure ggg wants to fight guys around his weight

      Hang on

Did he not try to make fights with canelo, Danny, Saunders and Eubank Jr. and they all ducked him!!!

Jacobs is GGG's mando....he didn't back out of anything. You don't have to start lying.

Brook was the guy they wanted all along..

I seem to also remember Froch teasing coming out of retirement for a GGG fight but he said it won't be at 168 but instead 172lbs so that means Carl Froch is a hypocrite right because he wanted to pick on someone that wasn't anywhere near as big as him

"Too big and strong for GGG"

          Lol.

How many 0's has Golovkin took?
How many people has GGG been the first one to KO?

            Wade
            Monroe Jr
            Ishida
            Murray
            Geale
            Adama
            Proska

Most of these guys haven't been stopped since, not only does GGG give us all a show but he absolutely dominates guys that the top 5-10 guys of the division would need 12 rounds to beat.

Sorta the difference between great and just enough, just enough being Andre Ward who utilizes so much fouling and cheating into his boxing which let's be honest that's not skillful anyone can cheat no credit for dirty fighters.
            yep, great post.

Such a great comment. It should be obvious but there are biased fans who hate white fighters that try to avoid logic like this. They will try to equate Danny Garcia barely beating a Lamont Peterson or someone like that to GGG dominating a similar level of fighter like Willie Monroe Jr. They act like if the opposition is equal, that's all that matters, because they don't want to give credit for how GGG beats them. If two football teams play the same opponent, and one beats that opponent 100-0, and one beats them 13-10, and then the team that won 13-10 refuses to play the team that won 100-0, I think maybe you can conclude that the team that won 100-0 is better than the team that won 13-10. But these biased fans will look for any excuse they can find to defend their ducking fighter and not give credit to the great ones like GGG. They'll say "they both beat the same level team, both 1-0 there, so that's equal man! And your team hasn't played anyone better than that so that's on them!" even though it's because they're ducked.

So it's ****** but that's what happens when people are biased. They have to ignore facts and common sense in order to twist the situation to fit with their bias. It's lame but it's how it works.

That's his side of the story.

The other side says they were offered insulting money to fight GGG.

Too many different fighters are saying the same thing about him and his team.

thats actually not fully true he just didnt think he could make 168 and ggg said no to 170 or 172

Danny Garcia, the ultimate cherry picker, who could have fought Brook or Thurman a year ago or any time since, criticizing GGG's opponents.

Generally speaking that seems to be the formula they use to duck and try to discredit the best fighters. First everyone who is any good ducks him, then they all turn around and say "who has he fought???? Why won't he fight anyone good!"

It's ridiculous but a large enough percentage of boxing fans are biased and don't care about supporting the best, just supporting their own skin color, that they can get away with it.
have u ever thought that maybe all these trainers and fighters and everyone else talking **** about ggg are right?
