Pac would do the exact same thing if he beat Floyd and Mayweather wanted a rematch.

Remember when Manny waited until the 11th hour to demand more $$$ from Hatton or he would pull out of the fight.???

    Remember that?

Floyd, who fought on April 20 against Castillo was ready for a rematch against Castillo about 1-1.5 months (talks) after the fight for an early August fight even though Floyd was supposedly recovering from a torn rotator cuff injury and surgery

"I tore my rotator cuff. My arm was killing me. It was hurting so bad, it was one of the most painful feelings that I ever had."

Floyd: "It was tough, my last (days of) training I hurt my rotator cuff. I wasn't able to use my jab and left wasn't as strong but I don't want to have any excuses like other champions. When they get hurt, they don't even come to show up to the fight. I get hurt, I come to fight to give the fans ....."

Larry Merchant: Was he much tougher than you anticipated? You after all said this was going to be an easy fight.

Floyd: You have to realize that I have a messed up arm. My arm was messed up but I have no excuses. I don't back down or turn down fights.

Larry Merchant: So it was a harder fight than anticipated?

Floyd: With one arm, yes. With one arm yes.

        .

Difference is Floyd's corner as well as himself actually acknowledged the shoulder during the fight. Not even Pac mentioned it until the the post fight

Interesting. Looks like their first fight was indeed on ESPN PPV.

Who wants to buy Pac vs May part deux......the first one was a well choreography......do little dance here and there.....do a little hugging .....throw a telegraphic punch , duck ,swing ,miss and repeat for 12 rds....at the end both fighters are sweaty as effing pigs on a hot Texas summer and no blood.....I suspect that is why Showtime offered the ****** clown another contract but with the stipulation that he was no longer gonna pick his opponents....I bet the first time Showtime signed him that loophole was overlooked....I really wanted Crawford to shine vs Postol....I even bought the fight and threw a party at my home....my guests were not very impressed with the fight or lack there of a fight....granted they are casual fans but the casual fan money counts big time....all these people that bought the pac vs may dance fest were a big majority of casual fans and they wont fall for the same trick a second time around.....I wanted Crawford to excell so that he could fight Manny and take the proverbial torch from mannys little greedy hands but Crawford waited till the 12rd too bad he will never get another dollar from me.....I am even on the fence about Kovalev vs Ward but I will see.

I feel sorry for Manny Pacquiao. I believe he made a mistake by retiring from the boxing ring so soon. Obviously, he wants so desperately to help his countrymen; Which is very noble of him. However, at the same time he has run into many financial troubles because of it. I think his foray into the political sphere was too premature.

Time is on his side. Chronologically, he is still relatively a young man at the tender age of 37. He has a lot of fight left in him. While no longer in his prime, Skill wise, he is still better than more than 95 percent of the fighters in the world today in and around his weight division.

Therefore, so long as he is healthy, can fight and still have a passion for the sport, then he should put his political ambitions on hold until he is either shot or a total ring wash out in order to concentrate on his boxing career.

HBO thinks that people will pay ppv to see a fighter instead of a coveted match up.

The next Canelo bout will fail because only his hardcore fan base will pay to see it and that is not very much looking into how many sells he did with Khan which has a better name than Liam.

Canelo vs Cotto on paper was an intriguing match up and did well at 900K but failed to break the million mark.

They will bank up the boxing budget if they keep trying to make these ppv bouts that nobody really wants to buy
